Rustom : My Review

Rustom is a well crafted thriller based on a true story which happened in 1959 Bombay.Akshay Kumar plays a decorated naval officer who is accused of the murder of his wife's (Ileana D'Cruz) secret lover (Arjan Bajwa).
Akshay Kumar literally lives as Rustom Pavri while rest of the cast does their roles well. The script is good and the direction by Tinu Suresh Desai deserves appreciation. The Art direction and costumes department have done some commendable work for this movie and it has payed off.The music is just awesome and it is a definite highlight of the movie.
This movie is a good watch and it surely won't disappoint any viewer.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil : My Review

This Karan Johar Directorial is a quirky fun ride with Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in lead roles. Aishwarya Rai has a brief and bold role but she looks good and does her role well.
The movie looks really colourful and star-studded with Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan,Lisa Haydon and Shah Rukh Khan doing cameos. Music by Pritam is excellent and all songs are chartbusters.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has a breezy first half with Ranbir and Anushka winning our hearts with their rollercoaster of emotions. Aishwarya Rai does an extended cameo after which the movie loses its quirkiness and becomes a cliche Bollywood Rom-Com.
The Music, Cinematography, Performances and the Cameos are true highlights of this movie. The script is weak and the screenplay is just average but the entertainment quotient of the movie is high.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a good one time weekend watch with your friends.

Lights Out : My Review

Lights out is a very well made horror film, based on a short film of the same name. The movie has its own unique way of giving chills to the viewers which makes lights out a different viewing experience.
David.F.Sandberg directs the movie very well even though the screenplay and story  is quite thin. The camerawork by Marc Spicer is commendable while the bgm by Benjamin Wallfisch suits the mood of the movie.
Teresa Palmer and Gabriel Bateman are good in their roles. This movie is a good watch for genre fans and those who love good horror. Watch it for the unique experience !!
