Deadpool 2 : Viewer's Guide

Deadpool 2 is a family film. If not mine, at least take Wade Wilson's word for it.

Ryan Reynolds is back with the second installment of deadpool that is sure to tickle your funny bone while this time the movie has an emotional twist added to it. References made in this film are very funny as they come at the right times.
You could imagine what's coming when you realize this part is directed by David Leitch, who co-directed John Wick.

The plot revolves around how deadpool forms a new league to save a young mutant from the new villain Cable, after an unfortunate twist of events shatter his life. This movie is a treat to watch with well written dialogues and a terrific performance from Ryan Reynolds whose screen presence is just mind blowing.

Director David Leitch does a splendid job in maintaining the perverted ambience and energy level of the the previous deadpool helmed by Tim Miller. Morena Baccarin looks gorgeous and does her brief role well while Josh Brolin proves that he is Marvel's trusted villain by portraying Cable after playing Thanos.

Overall, this movie will be treat for all Marvel fans and all those who love entertainment. This version rises above the R - Rated puns and delivers solid entertainment.

Watch it or not?

Deadpool 2 is a pure entertainer. Different from its predecessor, this movie has an element of emotion in it. This movie is a must watch given it has something for everyone who watches it. Go for it !!

Raazi : Viewer's Guide

Talwar was a path breaking movie based on real incidents. Meghna Gulzar is back with another realistic drama, based on an incredible true story of an Indian spy.

Bollywood movies about India - Pakistan have always been intriguing. Raazi is no exception. It is not an easy watch because it is a compelling true story. The plot revolves around what happens when a Indian girl is married off to Pakistan for the hidden motive of espionage. 

The script penned by Bhavani Iyer and Meghna Gulzar based on the novel "Calling Sehmat" is quite intense and good apart from a small flaw towards the end. Meghna Gulzar is a true gem. Her deft direction makes Raazi an engrossing watch despite the serious tone of the script. Alia Bhatt plays her role very well with the right emotions. Sehmat sinks into each of us before we leave the hall. Vicky Kaushal and Jaideep Ahlawat does their roles well. 

The music by Shankar Ehsaan Loy is functional and goes well with the mood of the film. Overall, Raazi is a well directed film with good performances, but is more likely to appeal to serious movie goers. 

Watch it or not?
Raazi is a good watch for serious movie goers. For entertainment lovers, this movie could be a long watch.

Avengers - Infinity War : Viewer's Guide

Things to do before watching Infinity War :

1. Don't look into comments section of Infinity War facebook posts ( you may as well include this post 😅) as you may end up getting spoiler - induced heartbreak.
2. Prepare yourself to experience the real heartbreak while watching the movie.
3. Leave all expectations and fan theories outside movie hall and ENTER.

All these precautions could definitely help in improving your state - of - mind during this phenomenon. Now let us take a look at the movie.

Avengers : Infinity War is a premonition. It is nothing like you have seen before. With the universe coming together to face the mighty Thanos, this movie is sure to leave you spell - bound and  if you go with minimal expectations. The screenplay has some hard hitting moments woven into the Journey of Thanos in his quest to own the infinity stones. The emotional quotient of the movie is quite high and Climax is expected to leave the viewers in splits.

The director duo Russo Brothers have done a terrific job in bringing together the superheroes but this does not help in masking the loopholes in the script. Even though loopholes that we are talking about here are the possibility of "improving" the script at places (given its Science FICTION), one does not expect anything less from marvel studios than the best.

In a superhero movie with such an incredible cast, screen space matters to discuss about performances from the cast. Josh Brolin is truly menacing as Thanos and he stands out as the movie revolves around him. Star Lord, Thor and Iron man have their moments in the 150 minute long film. 

Avengers : Infinity War is best described as a visual spectacle which is just a predecessor of the big bang. Don't miss this one at any cost.
