The Lunchbox : My Review

Way to one's heart is through one's stomach.
The lunchbox tells an unusual bonding between a housewife and a Government employee that happens when a dabbawala misdelivers a lunchbox. The movie is fresh and the script by Ritesh Batra who is also the director, deserves appreciation for its realistic feel. The Lunchbox explores Mumbai and also focuses on Dabbawalas, Metro Travel, Traffic, City Life etc.
Irrfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur delivers solid performances while Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Lilette Dubey plays their roles well. The movie has a running time of 100 mins and the pace of the movie is slow, although no lag is experienced throughout. The movie is a good watch and such fresh scripts are the need of the hour for Bollywood.
My Rating : 4/5
